Welcome to ACI Central Texas

Welcome to the website of the Central Texas Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.  We are located in Pflugerville, Texas.  The chapter membership is comprised of a diverse group of individuals supporting the central Texas concrete industry including concrete producers, engineers, technicians, concrete material suppliers, university professors, students, and contractors.

The Central Texas Chapter - American Concrete Institute is a not for profit organization. All funds coming into the organization will be utilized to carry out the functions of the organization and will not be used to benefit any individuals in any manner.

The purpose of this chapter is to further the chartered objectives for which the ACI was organized; to further education and technical practice, scientific investigation, and research by organizing the efforts of its members for a nonprofit, public service in gathering, correlating, and disseminating information for the improvement of the design, construction, manufacture, use, and maintenance of concrete products and structures. This chapter is accordingly organized and shall be operated exclusively for educational and scientific purposes.  In conducting the aforementioned affairs of this chapter, the chapter shall pay due attention to all trade regulations and shall not in any manner violate federal or state trade regulations.

RECENT NEWS:

The Cement Council of Texas in conjunction with TxDOT would like to invite you to attend the 2020 TxDOT/CCT Concrete Conference "Concrete Solutions for a Changing World".

The conference is being held on April 6-8, 2020 at UT Austin, JJ Pickle Research Campus.

The TxDOT-CCT Concrete Conference occurs just every two years. This is the only venue in Texas where TxDOT engineers and administrators, local road agencies, consultants, contractors, and suppliers gather to discuss the latest advancements in concrete pavements and structures.  The conference features:

  • Essential general sessions featuring TxDOT and FHWA administrators, and distinguished lecturers.
  • Three (3) technical tracks for highways, bridges and local roads/pavements.
  • Network with colleagues and business associates during included meals, breaks and reception.
  • Efficient 2-day technical format offers 12.5 PDHs (plus 1 PDH for Ethics Seminar on April 6th).
  • Engineering Ethics seminar for PEs prior to golf tournament on April 6th.
  • More vendor exhibits, with the latest technology.
