Excellence in concrete construction awards

About the Awards Program

The American Concrete Institute is a global organization committed to advancing concrete technology through research and education. The ACI Central Texas Chapter extends this same focus on education and the advancement of concrete technology to our local community. The Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards honor exceptional concrete construction from Central Texas. Projects are recognized for the degree of innovation, complexity, achievement, and value that concrete provides as a material.

The ACI Central Texas Chapter Board of Directors will select local project winners, the number at its discretion, for nomination to the ACI National Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards. These projects will compete on an international level, with award recipients honored at the ACI Fall Concrete Convention.

The ACI Central Texas Chapter has opened nominations for its Annual Project Awards to be presented at the April monthly chapter luncheon. Nominations close on April 15.

The local project that is awarded will receive complimentary entry for Nationals (a $995 value!) and a plaque that will be presented at a local chapter luncheon meeting.
