December 2022 Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Event

ACI Central Texas would like to extend our appreciation to all those who participated in our volunteer event on Friday, December 2, 2022. ACI Central Texas Members and their families volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house meal provider program. Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to be away or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. The Ronald McDonald House is a “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost. Our volunteers prepared a wonderful meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald house consisting of Creamy Dijon – Lemon Pork Chops with fresh green beans, rice, and artisanal bread. Further, our volunteers positively represented the ACI Central Texas Chapter in the community and we cannot thank them enough.
