July 2021 Community Outreach Event for the Austin Parks Foundation

Another great volunteer event happened on July 17, 2021. ACI Central Texas Members partnered with the Austin Parks Foundation to help out at the West Enfield Neighborhood Park in Austin, TX. Founded in 1992, the Austin Parks Foundation (APF) partners with the community to better public parks, trails and green spaces better through volunteerism, innovative programming, advocacy, and financial support. Our ACI Central Texas volunteers mulched newly planted trees and picked up litter throughout the park. Further, our volunteers positively represented the ACI Central Texas Chapter in the community and we cannot thank them enough. Please keep an eye out for future opportunities where you can positively engage our community with ACI’s Community Outreach program.
